TED TALK
how boredom leads to your most brilliant ideas
How can boredom lead to your most brilliant ideas? This TED talk I had to listen to because its super cool to learn that your brain is accomplishing something while you’re bored. This TED talk spoken by Manoush Zomordi she talked about what are brain is doing when were bored and how it reacts with certain impulses. This TED talk expands on what your mind is doing when you’re bored and what our brain is doing while multitasking. This got me to thinking because I have a little sister and she will say that she’s bored and when she’s bored she will ask a lot of questions so that made me wonder is it because when you’re bored in fact that your brain is slowly trying to solve other problems.
This reminded me of the article the right to fail because Mr. Zinnser talked about how it is okay to make mistakes in life this relates to the ted talk and how the brain processes mistakes and certain impulses. This relates to the American dream because boredom can get you one step closer to your dream figuring out how you want to live your life and what goals you want to achieve and just while you’re bored your brain will finds solutions to make things easier.
